Dr. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury serves Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management as an Assistant Professor. He is an accomplished Research professional with a PhD from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, with extensive experience in research, on Climate Change and Project Management. He also holds a M.Phil Degree in Development Studies, Master of Development Studies (NRM), and an MBA from the University of Dhaka, and a four-year Bachelor's degree from the National University, Bangladesh. Dr. Anwar is proficient in leading comprehensive research projects on multiple development issues and utilizing advanced statistical and design tools (Stata, Canva) to drive policy decisions and deliver social impact. He has demonstrated expertise in managing projects, fostering stakeholder relationships, and conducting impactful economic research with a focus on Loss and Damage and Climate Change. At present, he teaches an HRM course at the MPA Program.
