Commencement Ceremony of the New building of Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM)

On Wednesday, May 10, the Commencement Ceremony of the new building of Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM) under the Project " the Improvement of Governance and Management Research and Training Facilities" was held successfully.
This building will be constructed by the Japanise construction 
Company  "Takken Corporation" with the collaboration with JICA-Yamashita Sekkei Inc. 
Mr. Farhad Hossain, Honourable State Minister of ministry of  Public Administration was the chief guest; Mr. IWAMA Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh was the guest of honour; Mr. ICHIGUCHI Tomohide, Chief Representative of JICA;  Mr. Mohammed Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Public administration; Mr. M. Matiul Islam, Chairman, BOT and GB, BIGM was the special guests to celebrate this event.  
Dr Mohammad Tareque, Director of BIGM  was the chair of this program. In addition, senior officials from MOPA; officials of JICA; members of Japanese consultant Yamashita Sekkei Inc. and Japanese contractor Takken Corporation; all officer's from BIGM were present in this program to make event successful.
